Task 2 Research my own future plans

When Frances told us that our first task1 is easier than others, but it wasn’t easy to me.
I had recorded over 30times until I was satisfied. It made me exhausted. After that when I was doing this task 2 I realize that Frances was right this is harder than task 1!

Also I thought everything with computer is might easy to me because I used to work with a computer for my company, but even I guessed that wrong.
Perhaps I am good at computer in Korean not in English. Tools, words, application of new technology, every things are new to me. I appreciate learnning English with the computing skills although it was bit complicated. Sometimes I felt as I was learning for computing skills not English.

Anyway getting to the point about my task2, Maybe, I am luckier than other class mates because I am involved with kiwis. Actually my father-in-law is consultant for business also celebrant for weddings and funerals, so I could ask him to help my task2 but I did not do that.
I thought, I batter be fair with other class mates.

I decided to find out someone who can help my task 2. I want to see my friends which are my father-in-law’s friends as well. They are husband and wife. The couples who used to be voluntary worker for school which disable people go to. They have a lot of experience for helping people for many years. That is why I want to see them to get advice from them because I want to be a social worker. They welcomed me with warm hearts. They not only gave me a lot of information but also gave me permission to record our conversation.

It went all good until I went to a school to find more information, because a lady who was in the information desk of school, wasn’t nice to me. I asked her how can I apply for a job as Teachers and Support Staff for Satellite Classes. (of course, I explaned that it was for my task, not I want to apply a job now) But I felt that she couldn’t be bother to talk to me. I was frustrated. After that I didn’t want to go anywhere and see anybody. I had totally lost my self-confidence.

Even though I had lost my self-confidence, I had to do my task so I want to my church to get information of my future planning.

The lady’s name is Ivy.



 Usually, the church runs by volunteer works.  
                          There are many volunteer works such as working for second hand shops or hospice shop, food delivery, also transport to bring people and drop off, working at playgroups or caregiver etc..

She helped me more than I expected. I was thankful that I meet her.
